New Delhi/Hyderabad, July 16 -- In a significant step towards resolving inter-state water disputes, the Chief Ministers of Telangana and Andhra Pradesh-Revanth Reddy and N Chandrababu Naidu-held a crucial meeting in Delhi on Wednesday under the chairmanship of Union Jal Shakti Minister C R Patil.

The talks, held at the Jal Shakti Ministry office, yielded multiple positive outcomes and were marked by a cordial and cooperative atmosphere.

During the discussions, Andhra Pradesh agreed to Chief Minister Revanth Reddy's proposal to install telemetry machines to monitor water release from major irrigation projects, ensuring greater transparency and data accuracy in river water sharing.
