Hyderabad, May 26 -- A woman Sub-Registrar J. Aruna of Khammam Rural in Khammam district and a document writer Puchakayala Venkatesh were caught red handed by ACB officials at Khammam rural sub-registrar office on Monday when they demanded and accepted Rs 30,000 bribe from the complainant to register a gift deed document in the name of the complainant's son.
The Sub-Registrar demanded a bribe amount of Rs 50,000 and accepted Rs 30,000 through the private document writer, who accepted the bribe amount in the complainant's car within the office premises, ACB said in a release here.
The bribe amount was recovered from the document writer.
