Hyderabad, Aug. 19 -- The Telangana Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) today caught three officials in two separate cases in Ranga Reddy district for allegedly demanding and accepting bribes.

In the first case, Chintakindi Lalitha, Tahsildar of Amangal Mandal, and Kota Ravi, Mandal Surveyor, were caught by the City Range-2 unit after they allegedly demanded Rs. 50,000 each from a complainant for facilitating land registration and making typographical corrections in land records.

An ACB statement said that Lalitha had already received Rs 50,000 earlier from the complainant to initiate the process. In another case, B Ramesh, Senior Assistant at Tandur Municipality, was trapped by the ACB's Ranga Reddy Unit while accepting a bribe of Rs 15,000 fro...
