Nalgonda, Oct. 16 -- The Nalonda police have busted sandalwood smuggling gang by arresting three individuals accused of felling and smuggling high-value sandalwood trees from farmers' long-term plantations in the district.
Three key suspects involved in the sandalwood muggling gang's operations remain at large, police said here on Thursday.
All the members involved in this operation are hailing from other states - Maharashtra and Madhya Pradesh.
