Hyderabad, July 19 -- The Rs 521 croe Mega Railway Manufacturing Unit at Kazipet near here is being developed with modern, state-of-the-art technology, to be completed by the end of the year 2026, said Union Minister for Railways Ashwini Vaishnaw.
Ashwini along with Union Coal Minister Gishan Reddy who visited the Railway Manufacturing Unit at Kazipet here today, informed that the civil construction works at the manufacturing unit will be completed by December, 2025, while the entire project is expected to be completed by the end of the year 2026.
The Union Minister stated that the manufacturing unit has high potential and has been designed flexibly to manufacture coaches, engines and metro trains.
