Hyderabad, March 28 -- The bypoll for the Mahabubnagar Local Authorities constituency's member of the legislative council passed off peacefully amidst tight security on Thursday.
Among the 1,439 voters, elected public representatives include municipal ward, ZPTC, MPTC, and mandal parish presidents.
The polling, which commenced at 8 a.m., continued till 4 p.m., and the results for the MLC polls will be declared on April 2.
The Mahbubnagar Local Authorities constituency covers erstwhile districts of Mahbubnagar and parts of Ranga Reddy and Vikarabad districts.
Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy cast his vote in Kodangal in the afternoon.
