Kumram Bheem Asifabad, Feb. 2 -- District Collector K Haritha has suspended the Principal of the Government Nursing College at the district headquarters following serious lapses in administration and complaints from students.
In a press release issued on Monday, the Collector said she conducted a surprise inspection of the college after receiving information against Principal B Vinoda.
During the visit, it was found that the Principal was absent from duty and her office was locked. Enquiries with faculty members and students revealed that she had not attended official duties since January 29 and was not present in Asifabad, without obtaining prior permission to leave the headquarters.
