Hyderabad, Feb. 4 -- Former MLA from the Manthani constituency in the Peddapalli district, Chandrupatla Ram Reddy passed away while undergoing treatment for illness at a private hospital in Hyderabad.
He was 79.
He served as the Sarpanch of Khammampalli and MPP of Mutharam before being elected as the MLA from the Telugu Desam Party (TDP) in 1994.
His body is scheduled to be shifted to Manthani for the funeral proceedings.
