Hyderabad, Nov. 14 -- Counting of votes polled in the Jubilee Hills Assembly by-election began at 8 a.m. on Friday amid heavy security at the DRC Centre in Kotla Vijayabhaskar Reddy Indoor Stadium, Yousufguda.
Nearly 250 police personnel have been deployed at the venue, with Section 144 clamped in the surrounding areas to ensure a smooth and orderly counting process.
A total of 186 personnel, including Counting Supervisors, Counting Assistants, and Micro-Observers, deployed for the counting duty .Officials started with counting postal ballots before moving on to votes cast through EVMs.
