Hyderabad, Aug. 3 -- Telangana Pradesh Congress Committee (TPCC) Vice President Sangisetty Jagadish today said the party's labour cell will intensify its efforts to safeguard workers' rights and expose the :anti-labour policies of the BJP-led central government.
Jagadish was speaking at a wide-ranging meeting of the TPCC Labour Cell held at Gandhi Bhavan, where strategies were discussed to strengthen the wing further.
He said the Congress labour cell has resolved to act as a watchdog to ensure government funds allocated for workers' welfare are utilised properly and labour department schemes reach beneficiaries.
