Jayashankar Bhupalapally, June 8 -- The bodies of six youths who went missing on Saturday evening in the Medigadda Barrage of Mahadevpur Mandal in this district were recovered on Sunday afternoon.
The deceased were identified as Rakshit (13), Shiva Manoj (15), Sagar (16), Ramacharan (17, Madhusudhan (18), and Rahul (19). Their bodies were shifted to the Government Hospital in Mahadevpur for post-mortem examination.
According to the police, the victims had come to attend a wedding at Ambatpally in Mahadevpur Mandal two days ago. On Saturday, around 1730 hours, they went to the Medigadda Barrage to take a bath.
