Hyderabad, Aug. 10 -- Telangana Pradesh Congress Committee (TPCC) President and MLC Mahesh Kumar Goud on Sunday said that a Backward Class leader would become Chief Minister from the Congress party in the future, in line with Rahul Gandhi's vision of ensuring representation proportional to population share.
Speaking at the Sardar Sarvai Papanna Goud Maharaj 375th Birth Anniversary National Celebrations held at Ravindra Bharathi, here, Mahesh Kumar Goud said while BC leaders have become Chief Ministers in other southern states, the Telugu states are yet to see a BC occupy the top post.
