Hyderabad, March 1 -- The Anti corruption Bureau (ACB) on Saturday said that it has trapped/arrested 23 public servants, including two outsourcing employees, in 17 cases registered during the month of February in Telangana.
They were remanded to Judicial Custody.
Of the total cases during last month, 15 are trap cases and two cases of Disproportionate assets, ACB said in a release here.
The Bureau got conviction in one trap case.
G M Sudarshan, Panchayat Secretary of Kotagiri Village in Nizamabad District, who had been trapped in 2014 was convicted recently.
Around Rs 7.60 lakhs amount was seized in trap cases of BC Welfare, Energy, Home, Forest, Agriculture and Cooperation, Eduction, Social Welfare, Panchayat Raj and Rural Development...
