Patna, Oct. 15 -- Bihar Leader of Opposition and Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) leader Tejaswi Prasad Yadav today filed his nomination papers from the Raghopur Assembly constituency for the upcoming state elections.

Accompanied by his father and RJD supremo Lalu Prasad Yadav, mother and former Bihar chief minister Rabri Devi and sister Misa Bharti MP, Tejaswi filed his papers at the Hajipur Collectorate amid a massive gathering of enthusiastic supporters.

This will be Tejashwi's third consecutive electoral contest from Raghopur, a seat considered the traditional stronghold of the RJD. He first won from Raghopur in 2015 and went on to serve as Deputy Chief Minister in the Grand Alliance government. In 2020, he retained the seat and emerged as ...
