Patna, July 13 -- Concerned with the Special Intensive Revision ( SIR) of the voter list being carried out by the Election Commission in Bihar, Leader of the Opposition in the state assembly Tejashwi Prasad Yadav questioned the transparency and reliability of the entire exercise as well as the authenticity of the uploaded voter forms.
Flanked by the leaders of the constituent units of the Grand Alliance ( GA), Yadav told news persons here today that the authenticity of the uploaded voter forms was under serious doubt. He said while the Election Commission claims that over 80.11% of voter forms have been filled by July 12, the commission has failed to clarify the number of forms verified, voluntarily submitted, or valid.
