Patna, Nov. 17 -- In a meeting of legislators and other senior leaders of the party, Tejashwi Prasad Yadav was on Monday unanimously elected leader of RJD legislature party, three days after declaration of Bihar assembly elections results.

Senior party leader and former Bihar Minister Jagadanand Singh, after the meeting, told media persons here that Tejaswi Prasad Yadav was elected leader of RJD legislature party.

All twenty five newly elected MLAs and other senior leaders of the party were present in the meeting, he added.

"We reviewed the reasons behind poor performance of our party in just concluded Bihar assembly elections," RJD leader said adding that no one had ever thought of such debacle of the party.
