New Delhi, Feb. 10 -- A Class 10 student was allegedly fatally stabbed by unidentified assailants in Mangolpuri, which lies in the outer district of the city, on Monday morning, Delhi Police said.
"The minor suffered grievous injuries after being stabbed in the head," a senior police officer said, adding that when police later found him, the knife was still stuck in the teenager's skull.
The student was attacked early in the morning while he was on his way to school, police said.
A PCR call alerted the police to the incident, prompting a team to rush to the scene. The injured student was taken to a nearby hospital, where doctors declared him dead, the officer said.
