Bengaluru, Oct. 26 -- Karnataka's 13-year-old tennis prodigy Srishti Kiran claimed her first international junior title by winning the ITF J30 Tournament at Cabarete in the Dominican Republic today.
Srishti produced a dominant performance to defeat top seed Stephanie Pumar of Venezuela 6-2, 6-2 in the final, securing the championship in straight sets. Earlier in the tournament, she had stunned second seed Arina Vansovich of Russia 6-2, 6-3 in the pre-quarterfinals and advanced through the remaining rounds without dropping a set.
