Siliguri, Dec. 23 -- The union Minister of State for Education and Development of North Eastern Region, Sukanta Majumdar on Tuesday flagged off the Tebhaga Express with new Linke Hofmann Busch (LHB) coaches at Balurghat Railway station of South Dinajpur, ending much awaited demand of modern coaches aimed at enhancing passenger safety, comfort, and speed, replacing the older conventional ICF coaches.
The 13163/63 Tebhaga Exp is a vital railway connectivity for the remote South Dinajpur district in North Bengal with the capital city of Kolkata, which leaves Balurghat at 5:45 am every morning and on return leaves Kolkata station at 12:55 pm on the same day from Monday to Saturday.
