Prayagraj, Sept. 5 -- On the occasion of Teachers' Day, Uttar Pradesh Deputy Chief Minister Keshav Prasad Maurya participated as the chief guest in a special seminar and felicitation ceremony held at the District Panchayat Auditorium in Prayagraj. The event, titled "The Role of Teachers in the Current Scenario", celebrated the significant contributions of educators across the state.

The program began with the Deputy CM paying floral tribute to the portrait of Dr. Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan, whose birth anniversary is commemorated as Teachers' Day across India. During the event, 513 outstanding teachers were honored with appreciation certificates and mementos for their exceptional work in the field of education.
