Chapra, March 14 -- In a shocking incident of gross irresponsibility and negligence, the teachers left over 25 schoolchildren stranded midway during an educational tour in Saran district.
Police said here on Saturday that the police stepped in and arranged their safe return.
According to police, the students of an Upgraded Middle School in Sanauli village under the Mashrak police station area had gone on an educational excursion under the Chief Minister's Educational Tour Programme. A group of teachers had taken the children to visit historical sites in the neighbouring Vaishali district.
