Shimla, Feb. 22 -- An FIR has been registered under the POCSO Act against a history teacher posted at Government School Sangrah in the Sainj Valley, Kullu district for allegedly molesting three students.
Family members of the victims are demanding the immediate suspension of the accused, a police official confirmed on Sunday.
The victims, students of Class 11 (Ten Plus One), have lodged serious allegations of molestation against the teacher. Following the registration of the FIR on February 19, the families called for his suspension pending investigation.
Kullu Police Chief Madan Lal Kashyap stated that the FIR was registered at Police Station Sainj under the provisions of the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences (POCSO) Act.
