New Delhi, July 28 -- Tata Consultancy Services (TCS), India's prominent IT service provider, has revealed plans to cut about 2 percent of its global workforce over the next year.
Almost 12,000 employees working in different capacities will be impacted by this restructuring decision. The IT giant cited this layoff move as part of its effort to become a "Future-Ready" organisation.
Reportedly, the cuts are underway and might affect people, including the non-client-facing managers, project leads, and legacy tech specialists. Moreover, those who are unable to evolve their skill could also be impacted.
