New Delhi, Sept. 1 -- TCA Kalyani today assumed charge as the new Controller General of Accounts (CGA) in the Department of Expenditure, Ministry of Finance.
Kalyani, a 1991-batch officer of the Indian Civil Accounts Service (ICAS), became the 29th officer to hold this prestigious position.
Academically, she has done a BA in political science from University of Delhi and also completed her M.A. in International Politics and M.Phil in West European Studies from Jawaharlal Nehru University.
Before assuming the charge of CGA, she served as the Principal Chief Controller of Accounts (Pr. CCA), Ministry of Home Affairs, where she oversaw budgeting and accounting functions.
