Itanagar, Nov. 4 -- Chief Minister Pema Khandu today announced that Arunachal Pradesh is poised to "create history and be a part of it" by hosting the first-ever International Conference on His Holiness the Sixth Dalai Lama, Gyalwa Tsangyang Gyatso, this December at Tawang.
The Sixth Dalai Lama, revered as a spiritual luminary and poetic genius, was born in Urgyeling, Tawang, and remains an iconic figure in Tibetan and Himalayan Buddhist history. His verses and philosophy continue to inspire generations with their spiritual depth and lyrical beauty.
