Hyderabd, Jan. 6 -- Tata Advanced Systems (TAS), a wholly owned subsidiary of Tata Sons, on Tuesday announced it has been awarded a supply order by the Indian Army to support the overhaul and upgradation of first-generation Pinaka Multiple Launch Rocket Systems (MLRS) and Battery Command Posts (BCPs). The Supply Order was formally handed over by the Indian Army to Tata Advanced Systems during a formal ceremony held in New Delhi.
The project will be executed in collaboration with the Army's 510 Advance Base Workshop (ABW) under a public-private partnership model, a release said.
