Kolkata, Dec. 24 -- Exiled Bangladeshi author and human rights activist Taslima Nasreen has strongly condemned the brutal killing of Dipu Chandra Das in Mymensingh, reiterating her call for the abolition of blasphemy laws, which she says are being misused to justify heinous crimes.
In her latest post in X handle, human rights activist author said many people have been lynched to death brutally or being burnt alive in the name of committing blasphemy and now time has come to declare that blasphemy is non-offence act in the society. Her comment consistently focuses on the rise of religious extremism, the misuse of blasphemy laws, and the persistent danger faced by secularists and religious minorities in the country.
