Hyderabad, Jan. 14 -- The Commissioner's Task Force (South-East Zone) along with Balapur and Afzalgunj police busted a unit illegally manufacturing and supplying duplicate Karachi Mehendi cones and apprehended two persons, seizing machinery and duplicate stock worth about Rs 8 lakh.
Acting on a tip-off on Tuesday, teams simultaneously raided a premises at H.No. 17-40/3, Minar Colony, Balapur, and SKS Travels & Cargo, Afzalgunj, and caught the accused involved in the illegal operation.
The arrested persons were identified as Md Asif (48), a carpenter from Minar Colony, Balapur, who was allegedly running the manufacturing unit, and Deepak Kumar (25), a wholesaler and supplier from Gowliguda Chaman, a police statement said on Wednesday.
