Hyderabad, Aug. 7 -- In a significant step towards supporting terminally ill veterans, the Telangana & Andhra Sub Area (TASA) has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Sparsh Hospice, an initiative of the Rotary Club of Banjara Hills, and the Ex-Servicemen Contributory Health Scheme (ECHS) Hyderabad.
The partnership will enable over 2.8 lakh veterans and their dependents in Hyderabad and surrounding districts of Telangana and Andhra Pradesh to access cashless palliative care services, particularly for those battling terminal-stage cancer.
