Patna, Nov. 25 -- The Bihar Congress on Monday expelled seven leaders from the party's primary membership for six years for alleged anti-party activities.
These leaders had accused party officials of selling tickets for the Bihar Assembly Elections 2025. Several other leaders had also claimed that cash politics influenced the ticket distribution process.
Senior Congress leader and MP Tariq Anwar has called for an inquiry into these allegations. Emphasising the need for transparency and fairness within the party, he urged the party high command to conduct an impartial review of the entire ticket distribution process and ensure action against those found responsible for any irregularities.
