Chennai, Sept. 13 -- Sharpening his attack on the ruling DMK, actor-turned neta and Tamilaga Vetri Kazhagam (TVK) president Vijay on Saturday blamed Chief Minister MK Stalin of failing to fulfil the poll promises and remaining unconcerned about the deteriorating law and order situation.
With a sea of humanity having turned up for his first mass outreach rally at Trichy, it took more than 5 hours for him to travel just 6 km to reach the venue from the airport.
Though he started at around 9 am from the airport, he could arrive at the venue in the city only at 2.45 pm. The crowd turnout was a reminder of the bygone era of the late 70s and 80s when people used to wait for hours together to see their leaders address campaign meetings.
