Abu Dhabi, Sept. 16 -- Bangladesh scored 154 for five in their allotted 20 overs against Afghanistan in the 9th Group B match of the Asia Cup 2025 here at Sheikh Zayed Stadium today.
Opting to bat after winning the toss, Bangladesh's innings had an explosive start with Saif Hassan hitting 30 off 28 balls before falling to Rashid Khan in the sixth over. Tanzid Hasan Tamim then took charge, smashing 52 off 31 deliveries, including three sixes and four boundaries, giving Bangladesh a strong foundation. Litton Das, the captain, fell early for nine, trapped lbw by Noor Ahmad on the first ball of the 10th over.
