Dehradun, May 2 -- Uttarakhand Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami on Friday directed officials to take strict action against those who violate the law and order in the state.
During a high-level meeting at his residence, Dhami emphasised the need for stern action against perpetrators, particularly in light of a recent incident involving a minor victim in Nainital.
The Chief Minister instructed the district administration in Nainital to provide complete security and care to the victim and her family, assuring that the government stands firmly with them.
He also directed officials to identify and take immediate action against those spreading misinformation and rumours through social media and other means.
