Shimla, Jan. 4 -- Himachal Pradesh High Court directed the State government to initiate action against the concerned officials for their failure to take timely steps against an alleged encroachment, observing that there was no satisfactory justification for prolonged inaction except the recent issuance of a show-cause notice.
The directions were issued by a Division Bench, comprising Chief Justice, while hearing CWPIL No. 94 of 2024, Gurdev Negi vs State of Himachal Pradesh and others on January 1.
