Taipei, Jan. 11 -- Taiwan's defence ministry said it detected four Chinese military aircraft, six naval vessels and one official ship operating around the island around 6 am on Sunday.
The ministry said one of the aircraft crossed the median line of the Taiwan Strait and entered Taiwan's northern air defence identification zone (ADIZ). Taiwan responded by scrambling aircraft and naval vessels and monitored the Chinese activity.
Taiwan has tracked 65 Chinese military aircraft and 70 Chinese vessels so far this month, the ministry said.
