Hyderabad, April 26 -- Telangana Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy has directed officials to strengthen the public grievance redressal system in the state and expand the 'Prajavani' programme to the grassroots level for faster resolution of petitions.

At a review meeting held at MCHRD on Sunday, the Chief Minister instructed Chief Secretary K Ramakrishna Rao and senior officials to extend Prajavani services beyond district headquarters, beginning with the Revenue Divisional level and later to Mandals, to reduce the need for citizens to travel long distances.

Launched on December 8, 2023, Prajavani is currently held twice a week at Praja Bhavan in Hyderabad, with officials from various departments receiving and resolving public grievances. Si...
