Chhindwara (MP), Oct. 6 -- In the wake of several cases of children dying after consuming poisonous cough syrup in this district, the license of a medical store that was selling the syrup was cancelled today.
As per Chief Minister Mohan Yadav's directive, action is being taken ceaselessly in this matter.
As part of that, the license of 'Apna Medical Stores' in Parasia was nullified.
The store's operator is Jyoti Soni, wife of Dr Praveen Soni who has been placed under suspension in connection with the fatalities.
The district Food and Drug Administration issued the order cancelling the license.
