Bhopal, Oct. 6 -- Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Mohan Yadav said today that strict action will be taken against all guilty parties in the Chhindwara case, wherein children died after allegedly consuming poisonous cough syrup.
"The state government is vigilant and sensitive and no negligence will be tolerated in matters concerning human life," the Chief Minister was officially quoted as saying.
Accordingly, Chhindwara's Drug Inspector Gaurav Sharma, his Jabalpur counterpart Sharad Kumar Jain and Deputy Director (Food and Drug Administration) Shobhit Koshta have been suspended, while Drug Controller Dinesh Maurya has been transferred.
