Sangli, July 12 -- Mustafa Mohammed Kubbawala, a major producer of synthetic drugs who allegedly ran a drugs manufacturing factory at Irali village in Kavathe-Mahankal tehsil of the district and against whom a 'Red Corner' notice was issued by Interpol, has finally been arrested and brought to India from United Arab Emirates (UAE).
The Mumbai police in a special campaign had conducted raids at various places in Mumbai and seized crores of MD (mephedrone) drugs and arrested one Sajid Mahamad Aasif Sheikh alias Daabs, who was in contact with some drugs smugglers in Dubai including mastermind Kubbawala (44), who ran an illegal mephedrone factory in Irali village of the district from Dubai.
