Hyderabad, Aug. 12 -- All India Kisan Congress State Social Media Convenor Syed Abdul Sami today expressed deep concern over the detention of Rahul Gandhi and other opposition leaders yesterday during their protest for free and fair elections.
In a statement, Sami said that this action was not only an attack on political voices but an attack on the democratic rights of every Indian citizen. He has raised a pointed question to the Election Commission of India: "If the ECI is not guilty, why is it scared of full transparency? Why deny digital voter lists? Why limit access to CCTV footage?"
