Hyderabad, June 22 -- In a swift and efficient operation, police recovered Rs 46.4 lakh in stolen cash within just six hours of receiving a complaint from Sun Steels Private Limited.
The accused, Giridhari Singh (28), a former employee of the company and a native of Madhya Pradesh, was apprehended while attempting to flee to his hometown.
The theft occurred on the intervening night of June 20-21, when Singh broke into the company's godown at Patigadda by entering through the roof and breaking open a Godrej locker in the office cabin. A case was registered under FIR No. 266/2025.
