New York, Sept. 2 -- World No.2 Iga Swiatek continued her impressive run at the US Open 2025, storming into the quarterfinals with a straight-sets win over Russia's Ekaterina Alexandrova at the Louis Armstrong Stadium here today.
Swiatek, who had shown signs of vulnerability in her previous round when she was forced to stage a comeback from 1-5 down against Anna Kalinskaya, displayed a far more clinical and assured performance this time.
