Pune, April 8 -- The Special MP/MLA Court in Pune on Wednesday adjourned to April 13 further hearing in the defamation case filed against Leader of Opposition in the Lok Sabha, Rahul Gandhi for alleged derogatory remarks regarding freedom fighter and Hindu nationalist ideologue Vinayak Damodar Savarkar who was jailed for alleged sedition against the British Raj.
Appearing for the defence, Advocate Milind Dattatray Pawar conducted the cross-examination of Satyaki Savarkar, the grandson of Savarkar.
In response to questions, Satyaki Savarkar acknowledged that some books were published by Vinayak Damodar Savarkar under different names.
