Bengaluru, Oct. 4 -- Fakir Dingaleshwar Swamiji of Shirahatti, a prominent Lingayat seer, has urged Karnataka Chief Minister Siddaramaiah to keep away from separatist Lingayat groups, warning that political support to such factions could threaten social cohesion in the state.

Speaking on the growing influence of separatist voices within the community, the seer highlighted the Lingayat community's historical contribution to Karnataka's cultural, social, and spiritual life. He cautioned that any political alignment with groups pursuing divisive agendas could create unrest and disrupt harmony.
