New Delhi, Sept. 9 -- Madhya Pradesh's Indore emerged as the undisputed champion of the central government's Swachh Vayu Sarvekshan Awards 2025, clinching the top spot for clean air, in the category of cities with populations exceeding 10 lakh, followed by Jabalpur and Agra and Surat which shared third place.
The awards were presented by union Environment Minister Bhupender Yadav at an event here. Indore and Udaipur were also hounoured with the prestigious Wetland City Recognition under the Ramsar Convention for their exceptional efforts in urban wetland conservation.
