Swachh Bharat initiative has become a nationwide movement: Odisha Governor

Bhubaneswar, Sept. 17 -- The Swachh Bharat initiative launched by Prime Minister Narendra Modi in 2014 has grown into a nationwide movement, Odisha Governor Dr. Hari Babu Kambhampati today saidSpeaking at the Swachhata Abhiyan campaign held at Rama Devi Women's University here, the Governor said, "Mahatma Gandhi emphasized the importance of cleanliness, and Prime Minister Narendra Modi has translated that vision into action."He stressed that cleanliness should not be restricted to a single day in a year, but must be a continuous practice, every month, every week, and, if possible, every day.
