Chennai, May 24 -- The South West Monsoon has set in over Kerala
on Saturday against the normal date of June 1.
Met office said the monsoon has set in over Kerala 8 days before the
normal date.
This is the earliest date of monsoon onset over Kerala after the year
2009 when it was set in over Kerala on May 23, 2009.
