Patna, Sept. 6 -- The Start-up Village Entrepreneurship Programme (SVEP) implemented by JEEViKA is transforming the lives of rural families in Bihar. Official sources said today that the scheme has not only become a source of employment, but is also playing an important role in encouraging women and youth towards entrepreneurship and making them self-reliant.

The main objective of the scheme is to motivate rural women and youth to start their own businesses, said the sources, adding that under this, they are provided with financial, technical, and training based support.
