Kolkata, Jan. 14 -- Leader of the Opposition Suvendu Adhikari threatened to file a defamation case against West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee on Wednesday, alleging that she made baseless and defamatory remarks linking him to the coal scam.
The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leader said the Chief Minister failed to respond to a legal notice sent to her seeking proof of the allegations within a stipulated time.
