Kolkata, July 14 -- Opposition leader in the West Bengal Legislative Assembly Suvendu Adhikari
today congratulated Professor Ashim Kumar Ghosh on being appointed as the Governor of Haryana.
"It is with immense pride and joy that I extend my warmest congratulations to Prof. Ashim Kumar Ghosh on his appointment as the Governor of Haryana," Adhikari said.
Prof Ghosh will replace incumbent Bandaru Dattatreya as Haryana governor.
Prof Ghosh, an academician and BJP leader, had held the post of president of the party unit in Bengal during 1999-2002.
